One Medium Suitcase

These are the items I would take with me:

I would take the quilt I sleep with every night. It was a gift from a really close family friend who passed away a few years ago. It reminds me of all the good times we shared together.

My class ring would definitely be brought with me. It shows who I am and where I am from.

A box of pictures would be with me. It would be filled with photos of family and friends. It would be like I was still surrounded with all the people I love.

I would almost be forced to bring my contacts/glasses. Without them I would not be able to see and who knows what could happen to me.

I would bring along the earrings my mom gave me. They weren't given to me for any special occasion which makes them that more special knowing she gave them to me out of the goodness of her heart.

My drivers license would be brought with me. In case I ever came in contact with a possible car to drive I would kind of need it. Hopefully this happens to me.

I would bring along part of my china set collection. My grandma started this collection for me before I was born and it would be a constant reminder of the great person she was.

My softball and basketball necklaces would be brought with me. They were a gift from my mom and remind me of two important things in my life. Those two sports have been in my life for as long as I can remember.

I would bring a toothbrush and toothpaste. I can only imagine how disgusting my mouth would be without these two things.

The last thing I would bring would have to be my letter jacket. It shows all my great accomplishments so far throughout my high school carrier. It truly shows who I am and where I come from.

7. Witnessing all my brother's achievements throughout his life. Most of them have impacted me in a positive way and made me who I am today.

Synetics

Which is wiser? a pen or pencil? A pencil is wiser because with it you can always correct yourself until you find what is right.

Which is more fearful? new or old? The new is more fearful because you never know what you are going to get. With the old you always know what to look for.

Which is more useful? a friend or an enemy? A friend is more useful because you can always trust them with anything without having to worry about them telling anyone.

Which is happier? music or art? Art is happier because you can really express your true feelings. Actions (or pictures) speak louder than words.

Which is more difficult? a dream or a nightmare? A dream is more difficult because when you wake up everything you thought was true is not.

Which is easier to teach? a question or an answer? A question is easier to teach because it is always there. Sometimes you can never find an answer.

Which is like a valentine? the truth or a lie? A lie is more like a valentine because most of the time when people get things for Valentine's Day the person giving it didn't truly mean it.

Which is smarter? A clock or a calendar? A clock is smarter because it always has an answer. It is always changing when a calendar changes every thirty days or so.

Which is more trustworthy? history or literature? Literature is more trustworthy because history is always being changed.

Which is more suspenseful? rain or snow? Snow is by far more suspenseful because you never know what is going to happen with it. You never know if you are going to get a lot or a little.

Valuable Lessons

1. Never take what you have for granted- You should always be thankful for what you have and never hesitate to count your blessings, there's always someone out there who has it worse than you.

2. Treat others as you want to be treated- You know you don't like being treated bad so just simply don't do it to others. They surely don't enjoy it either.

3. Not everything you hear is true- People like to create drama, don't get sucked into it because it will just create a bigger problem.

4. Work for what you have- Everything is much better knowing you worked hard for what you achieved. Although doing nothing to get what you want feels right, working for what you have makes things that much more important.

5. Learn to accept life- Life isn't always going to go your way so accept what you have and deal with it.

6. Love your brothers and sisters- My mom once said, "Someday when you're old and I'm gone they're all you're going to have."

7. Grades are more important than sports- You are just one injury away from never getting to play sports again. Be smart and keep your grades up.

8. Always make good choices- The choices you make could effect you for the rest of your life so make sure they're good ones.

9. Always buckle up- You never know what could happen so always be smart and take precautions.

10. Think before you speak- Something's are better left unsaid. The things you say could really hurt someone whether you think so or not.
